Job Summary

This role provides critical support to the firm's financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts. The Collections Coordinator will work closely with clients, attorneys, and staff to resolve past due accounts and maintain positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact clients regarding past due accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Perform account reconciliations and manage client communications.
  • Handle client bankruptcy filings and forward invoices as requested.
  • Document activity in the collections database and work with the Billing Department to ensure accurate billing.
  • Monitor and respond to accounts receivable hotline and email box.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of legal collections experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Reliability, teamwork, professionalism, and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively with employees, clients, and attorneys.
  • Knowledge of Aderant, Elite software preferred.
Education

BA/BS in finance or related field.
