Position Overview:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to designated patients.

  • Administer medications accurately while documenting and communicating clinical observations.
  • Comply with patient safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Proactively enhance patient safety by identifying opportunities for improvement in existing policies and practices.
  • Maintain a secure, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  • Promote ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Support and uphold the core principles of the Patient-Centered Medical Home or Patient-Centered Specialty Practice.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Nationally recognized nursing graduate.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Current CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
  • Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or as permitted by reciprocal agreement.
  • National certification in specialty area preferred.
  • PALS, TNCC, and/or ENPC certifications preferred.
  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and 25 to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Exposure to hazardous materials requiring personal protective equipment.

This role encompasses care for patients across various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
