Join us as a Culinary Professional at Chesterwood Village in West Chester, OH, where you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care and quality service.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality meals to our residents, guests, and staff.

Salary: $13.00 to $22 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of delicious meals according to standardized recipes.
  • Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients.
  • Steaming, grilling, boiling, baking, or frying meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
  • Checking food and ingredients for freshness.
  • Arranging and garnishing dishes.
  • Ensuring that kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen staff.
  • Plating food according to outlined clinical and nutritional requirements for each resident.
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment during and immediately after meal preparation and serving.
  • Maintaining kitchen temperature and cleaning logs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the success of Hillandale Family of Communities and the quality of care and service.
About You
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.
  • You possess thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation.
  • You have a good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.
  • You can use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You can handle work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are available to work shifts, on public holidays, and over weekends.
