We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab, reporting to the Cath Lab Coordinator, and providing exceptional patient care to various patient populations.
Responsibilities- Performs duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Reports to the Cath Lab Coordinator and maintains open communication to ensure smooth operation of the Cath Lab.
- Provides exceptional patient care to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, demonstrating ability to provide competent care to diverse patient populations.
- Participates in projects and assists in the development and implementation of procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilizes a personal computer to access e-mail and other hospital systems, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies.
- Minimum of two years experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist with two years minimum experience in Special Procedures and/or Cardiac Cath preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology required.
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) within 90 days of graduation.
- CPR certified required; ACLS certified preferred.
- Proper body mechanics and ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
The Cath Lab Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
