Job Summary

The Clinical Outcomes Specialist is a key role within the Department of Clinical Excellence at LifeBridge Health. This position requires a Master's or Doctoral prepared Registered Nurse who can function as a resource to nurses and patients to improve quality care outcomes.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to facilitate evidence-based practice implementation, positively influencing nursing care delivery. Using a data-driven approach, the Clinical Outcomes Specialist will lead sustainable change to elevate nursing professional practice and ensure seamless, quality patient care across the continuum.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to promote evidence-based practice and improve patient care
  • Conduct data analysis to identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies for implementation
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives to improve patient care outcomes
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required; MSN with Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification preferred, or eligibility to sit for CNS exam
  • 5-7 years of relevant acute care experience
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License required
  • Experience with Psychiatric patients a plus
