Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Sawmill Creek. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, and removing dirty linen.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Report maintenance issues and collect and label lost and found items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to stand and move around for 8 hours.
  • Ability to perform physical and repetitive tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and gripping.
  • Ability to push or pull a cart over 100 lbs and lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
