Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, administration of moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring during procedures, and post-procedure recovery and teaching. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
  • Conduct pre-procedure assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care or procedural setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
