About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Grounding Assembly Technician to join our team at Pike Corporation. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work with us in ensuring that infrastructure systems are up and running when people and businesses need them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely inspect and test ground assemblies on company Overhead, Underground, and Transmission equipment.
  • Maintain a working inventory of company ground assemblies to support field operations during testing in various locations and in multiple states.
  • Perform rigorous physical labor and climb up and down on trucks safely.
  • Understand operation of heavy equipment and maintain hand tools properly.
  • Work safely while performing ground assembly inspections and testing in the field and in-house.

Requirements:

  • Able to perform rigorous physical labor and lift more than 50 lbs.
  • Able to climb up and down on trucks safely.
  • Understands operation of heavy equipment.
  • Understands proper use and maintenance of hand tools.
  • Capable of receiving and following directions.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in fleet transportation.
  • Able to work for extended periods of time in various locations, when required.
  • Must be able to obtain a commercial driver's license.
  • Able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
  • Willing to work over-time when requested.

Compensation Package:

We offer an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
