Job Overview

As a Security Officer with Wind Creek Hospitality, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and visitors. This position requires flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to medical emergencies and assess situations
  • Take charge of medical emergencies and document incidents
  • Train peers on medical procedures and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections of Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and oxygen supplies
  • Patrol entrance and exit doors and prevent theft
  • Escorts employees and guests and provides guest service
  • Write incident reports and communicate emergency procedures via radio communications
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Two years' experience in law enforcement, military, corrections, or other security capacity
  • EMT license from the State where the property is located
  • Ability to meet and maintain a departmental physical fitness standard
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a security position within a casino environment
  • Report writing and answering/initiating phone calls in an emergency situation
