Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex deployment processes utilizing CI/CD methodologies in both enterprise and startup settings.
  • Assess the current state of DevOps practices and infrastructure, and architect a future state in cloud environments (AWS).
  • Engage with executive leadership to summarize the proposed architecture and articulate its advantages in terms of usability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop CI/CD platforms with automated scripting tailored to project requirements.
  • Enhance the efficiency of build and release cycles.
  • Address network complexities and devise effective solutions.
  • Innovate and create automation scripts to meet diverse needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with cloud formation templates and their integration with Terraform.
  • Proficient in Terraform and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes using platforms like GitLab or GitHub.
  • Experience with Node.js project development is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of configuring load balancers, EC2, AutoScaling, and API management tools, with a focus on automation using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Proven experience in architecting complex infrastructure solutions for high availability and low latency.
  • Deep understanding of managing configuration and property files across various environments during artifact packaging.
  • Familiarity with Artifactory or Nexus is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of application, infrastructure, and cloud security.
  • Experience in assisting application teams with their infrastructure needs.
  • Proficient in building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in delegating tasks while maintaining accountability for detailed design aspects of enterprise infrastructure.
  • Track record of delivering products or services in high-growth environments, including startups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Additional Skills:
  1. Familiarity with open-source frameworks, security libraries, cloud-native tools, web servers, and application containers.
  2. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, AWS Code Commit, Jira, Jenkins, and test automation tools.
  3. Knowledge of infrastructure design elements like load balancers, CDNs, application gateways, API gateways, and deployment automation to cloud platforms.
