  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about emerging trends in the RNG and LFGS industry.
  • Training and Development:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, licenses, and industry standards, with a focus on upholding top-tier safety benchmarks.
  • Landfill Gas Operations: Lead the construction and operations of Landfill Gas wellfields across TRNGs portfolio of assets.
  • Communication: Ensure communications are maintained with the local landfill staff.
  • Independence: Work independently without direct supervision to ensure wellfield are optimized while maintaining compliance.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop SOP's and reporting to ensure consistency across TRNG.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure timely and professional communications with all stakeholders regarding outages, system impacts and safety incidents.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with the landfill staff and ensure communications are correct and timely.
  • Business Case Development: Build business cases to optimize the assets, including a cost/benefit analysis.
  • Engineering Support: Support Engineering staff with planning of construction projects and gas collection field expansions.
  • Project Development: Develop and implement projects, process control improvements and design to optimize production and maximize production volumes to increase input to the plants.
  • Presentations: Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and industry events.
  • Operational Support: Support plant operational support requests.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, business, operations management or vocational school and 5 years of equivalent experience in the renewables gas, electric generation, or energy industry.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years progressive and relevant experience in energy operations management preferably in the organics to energy business.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills to liaise with industry partners, regulatory agencies, other external stakeholders.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience managing people with collaborative working style.
  • Travel: Requires travel to job sites and out of the local area overnight stays.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and decision making.
  • Priorities Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
  • Team Player: Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter that can operate independently.
  • Gas Processing Experience: Experience in Gas Processing and LFG is preferred.
  • Authorization: Legitimate authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of guiding teams in wellfield upgrades and maintenance activities.
  • Industry Best Practices: Comprehensive knowledge of RNG and Gas Processing industry best practices and methodologies.
