About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures in Surgery, Emergency Department, Pain Center, and the Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Position patients for exams and ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Formulate radiographic exposure factors and use phototiming to ensure high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast media and recognize and handle changes in exams and procedures for patients.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High School graduate; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
