Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Survey Data Specialist, IT Program. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with survey data and metadata, developing best practices for survey creation and outlining content, platforms, and processes needed to develop a survey question bank.
About the Role
This temporary opportunity is focused on collection and verification of data and metadata on surveys conducted at the university. You will be responsible for verifying and documenting ongoing surveys using an existing survey catalog, creating communication and educational materials for survey best practices, proposing content, platforms, and processes necessary to build a survey question bank, and creating a proof of concept for the question bank that follows the approved proposal.
Responsibilities
- Verify and document ongoing surveys using an existing survey catalog
- Create communication and educational materials for survey best practices
- Propose content, platforms, and processes necessary to build a survey question bank
- As time permits, create a proof of concept for the question bank that follows the approved proposal
Requirements
- Pursuing (or completed) a bachelor's degree, and interest in Information Technology, data and metadata standards, and/or library and information science
- Strong oral, written, and team communication skills, effective questioning, listening, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills required
Benefits
