Travel Nurse Across America is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for an immediate travel nurse opening in Winston Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work in a fast-paced, urgent, and emergency environment.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will be part of a diverse team of caregivers who will work together to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You will be responsible for providing basic bedside care, cleaning and bandaging wounds, providing IV therapy, maintaining supplies and medical equipment, and reporting suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

The ER Travel Nurse will also be responsible for documenting medical history, checking for any allergies patients may have, obtaining patient vital signs, and monitoring patients' emotional and physical well-being. You will need to be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. You will also need to be able to lift 20 pounds easily and may need to lift patients weighing up to 50 pounds at times.

The ideal candidate will possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

**Requirements:**
* ACLS
* BLS
* 2 Years of experience

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
