Job Title: Estimating Manager - New Construction

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our New Construction division. As a key member of our Estimating Department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining estimating tools, developing and sustaining collaborative efforts with internal teams, and ensuring the accurate development of estimates that align with the company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow people: Ensure team members are engaged, challenged, and have appropriate workload.
  • Develop and maintain tools and processes: Research current industry trends and create strategies to stay in front of technology developments.
  • Partner with sales teams: Present value engineering and other cost management concepts to help manage project budgets.
  • Effectively manage the estimating department: Track, chart, and report out KPIs, create and manage the department budget, and manage the team's people resources.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage risk first: Provide fee/cost modeling and analysis, communicate and mitigate risk through detailed project documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction methods, materials, and regulations, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. They will also possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k retirement plan, and more.
