Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and will have the opportunity to work independently while focusing on quality care. In addition to clinical duties, this role will involve participating in medical expert panels, coaching back-office staff, and educating RNs. At Concentra, you will have the chance to positively impact patients' lives and work alongside a team of expert colleagues to help thousands of patients thrive.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies.
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Concentra's medical model.
- Establish and monitor the appropriate level of care for patients.
- Complete medical record documentation prior to the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure operations align with medical and professional standards of care, Association, and Concentra.
- Recommend potential growth opportunities for new or existing services within the Center.
- Meet with Concentra's Medical Director or designate to discuss quality of patient care, review policies, procedures, outcomes reports, and records.
- Participate in quality management processes, including encouraging clinical support staff to ensure proficiency in delivering clinical support activities.
- Communicate with client representatives following employee treatment for initial injury and/or at any significant change in status.
- Call patients to ensure their well-being as needed following center visits.
- In the absence of the Center Medical Director, provide guidance to other medical personnel and center colleagues.
- Education/Credentials: Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction, graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, procedural skills a plus.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a primary care specialty and/or occupational medicine.
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate in the range of $76.00 to $85.00, depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
