Key Responsibilities- Manage patient flow and facilitate unit operations
- Perform basic Medical Assistant duties, including front desk duties and patient documentation
- Assist with scheduling patients and collecting patient information
- Comply with all policies and standards, including maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Participate in annual training and adhere to UH Code of Conduct and policies
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- 1+ years clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds
- Able to organize changing work assignments
