Safely transport Bay Path University students, faculty, and staff to and from various locations on and off campus.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Services: Safely transport students, faculty, and staff to and from various locations on and off campus in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Handle vehicle problems and assist in the event of an accident. Report any vehicle problems, repairs, or maintenance needs via pre and post-trip inspection paperwork and verbally to direct supervisor and/or maintenance/facilities.
- Communication: Communicate with Student Activities and Transportation Coordinator upon return of student trips to inform of problems or issues that occurred during the trip.
- Administrative Tasks: Fuel vehicle upon return from trip. Removal of trash and minor cleanup of vehicle at conclusion of each shift.
- Professional Development: Attend trainings as required.
- Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
- Safe Driving Course: Must successfully pass the online safe driving course and driving record check at time of hire and annually thereafter.
- Criminal Offender Records Check: Submit to and pass criminal offender records check (C.O.R.I.).
- Pre-Employment Screening: Submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening and/or physical duties test.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Cultural Competence: Should be committed to a culture of diversity, respect, and inclusion.
