Job Summary

As a CDL Driver/Logistics Coordinator at Specialty Products and Insulation, you will be responsible for safely delivering materials to customer locations and working as a warehouse associate to load/unload trucks, move/stock material, and assemble/pack products for shipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe Delivery and Transportation: Safely deliver materials to respective job sites or customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery routes.
  • Logistics and Inventory Management: Maintain driver's log, use Corporate gas cards, and ensure accurate inventory management, including loading/unloading orders, shipping, receiving, storing, and allocating materials.
  • Warehouse Operations: Operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructed, maintain warehouse appearance, and ensure a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide service to customers entering the warehouse and participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
Requirements
  • A or B CDL license
  • Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
  • General knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Basic math skills
  • Teamwork and multi-tasking skills
  • Familiarity with materials and units of measure
  • Ability to write legibly and communicate clearly with professionalism and courtesy
  • Maintain a basic knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs
Work Environment

Road travel, as well as warehouse/fabrication environment. Physical demands may include high levels of sitting while driving, walking, standing, and/or climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, work outside/inside around machinery with moving parts and vehicles, exposure to all seasons of weather, and slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to lift a minimum of 60lbs.
