Job Title: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

At Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist, you will work closely with our team of physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including radiological imaging and patient care.
  • Assist physicians with imaging and monitoring equipment, maintaining sterile conditions and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Operate imaging equipment, monitor, and document procedure images and events in the control room.
  • Deliver patient education and support, including pre and post-procedure instructions and expectations.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of the laboratory, ensuring appropriate stock levels for interventions and diagnostic procedures.
  • Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
  • Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred.
  • Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • Fluoroscopy Certification and radiation badges supplied by vendor.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $25,860 to $28,730 per year, with a guaranteed 40 hours of work per week. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and a positive work environment.
