Station Cook

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at the University of Texas - Housing and Dining. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food to a high standard, following recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented on time.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and feedback.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
