The Logistics Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the shipping and receiving processes of goods and materials, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and in an organized manner.

Utilizing industry expertise and best practices, this role aims to enhance warehouse activities in alignment with production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and uphold performance standards for warehouse operations.
  2. Motivate and engage team members to enhance their performance and align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
  3. Ensure the warehouse functions at optimal efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse personnel.
  4. Develop and implement systems for warehouse operations, including product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping protocols.
  5. Maintain organized storage methodologies for products and materials to uphold quality, ensure employee safety, and enhance production efficiency.
  6. Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to the warehouse team to address daily operational challenges and achieve both short- and long-term performance targets.
  7. Foster a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing established standards and procedures, in compliance with legal regulations.
  8. Oversee the inventory management process, including cycle counts and management of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and work-in-progress items.
  9. Coordinate inter-company transfers and the delivery of supplies and raw materials to support production schedules.
  10. Lead warehouse initiatives focused on productivity, inventory management, asset reliability, and cost reduction while consistently meeting quality benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in warehouse operations.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, planning, and process management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
