POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering therapeutic services to a specific patient demographic, aiding them in achieving optimal physical autonomy. This role involves performing comprehensive physical therapy assessments, utilizing various modalities, and implementing treatment plans aimed at restoring functionality, alleviating discomfort, and preventing impairments due to illness or injury. The therapist will provide care across all age ranges, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Additionally, this position entails overseeing the treatment provided by physical therapist assistants and may include training and mentoring of designated staff members.
Work Schedule:
PRN, flexible hours
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Ongoing continuing education units (CEUs) must be maintained as mandated by state regulations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
No prior experience is necessary.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must possess a valid Physical Therapist License in Georgia.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
CPR Certification is mandatory.
