Diagnostic Sonographer

We're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at DeTar Hospital in Victoria, TX. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
  • Schedule and coordinate tests, record test results, and prepare and maintain operational logs.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment and order supplies as needed.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of diagnostic sonography.

Requirements:

  • Requires a two-year allied health degree.
  • Successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
