Position Overview: Grooming Specialist
Are you a dedicated grooming professional who enjoys working with animals? Join our close-knit team at Veterinary United and assist us in providing exceptional grooming services. You will operate in a well-equipped, comfortable environment and be part of a team that prioritizes compassion and excellence in pet care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Groom pets (dogs and cats) following breed-specific guidelines.
- Detangle fur, remove mats, and maintain the health of pets' coats.
- Inspect for parasites and skin issues.
- Carry out nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal sac expression.
- Brush teeth and ensure the overall well-being of pets.
- Capability to walk, stand, kneel, and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Mobility to navigate between grooming stations and remain standing for extended durations.
- Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a dedication to teamwork.
- Commission-based earnings ranging from 40% to 60% based on experience.
