Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to operate a residential yard debris collection truck, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers. The successful candidate will have a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a residential yard debris collection truck, loading and unloading debris from customer locations
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires
  • Comprehend electronic route tablets and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher
  • Courteous interaction with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

The employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee will be required to perform strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting of objects over 50 pounds and pushing or pulling objects over 100 pounds.

Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
What We Offer:

Union benefits, including medical, dental, vision plans, and a pension plan. Boot allowance of $400 per year. Safety bonus of up to $1,750 per year.
