Aerospace Company Needs a Machinist

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines to produce high-quality parts.
Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production and meet production standards.
Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping and select the appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
Plan the proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment and monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
Maintain inventory of completed products and check output for quality assurance, documenting or discarding defects as needed.
Identify the need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs, maintaining a safe and clean workstation.

Requirements:
Three years of experience running a CNC mill or recent Machinist Tech Training Certificate.
Proven ability to consistently run good parts that meet production standards and strong skills and aptitude in math.
Ability to perform basic functions with MS Windows-based computer operating systems, such as opening and closing files.
Completion of Machine Proficiency test during the interview process.

Compensation:
$32.00 per hour
