Job Description: As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing patient advocacy and support services.
- Assisting registered nurses in direct patient care.
- Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences or comparable behavioral health experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
- C.N.A. certification preferred; 2% pay differential available for active CNA license holders.
Schedule and Benefits:
The ideal candidate will work 20/40 part-time days, including every other weekend. Our hospital offers a range of benefits, including competitive salary, comprehensive health insurance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
