As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Quality Management: Demonstrate an understanding of GXO's quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
- Staff Management: Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality, and safety, and make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is properly maintained and coordinate with the maintenance team as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete reports in a timely manner.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA and other pertinent standards.
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a logistics or supply chain management role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving techniques, statistical analysis skills, and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
