Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repairs to flooring, drywall, and appliances, as well as troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of our properties, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and garden/yard upkeep.
- Painting and Decorating: Paint interior and exterior surfaces, as well as perform other decorative tasks as needed.
- Unit Turnovers: Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments to ensure they are in proper operating condition and appearance upon move-in.
- Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment owned by the apartment community, including proper storage and maintenance of maintenance shops and storage rooms.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English; basic computer skills; and ability to wear a respirator.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
