Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at DHR Health.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures in a timely and accurate manner. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and related devices.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Current state certification (TMB) and American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) general certification required.
  • At least two years of experience in CT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:

The CT Technologist will work in a hospital setting, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The individual must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.

Physical Requirements:
  • Light/moderate lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Kneeling and standing for long periods.
  • Ability to assist other employees with lifting more than 20 pounds.
