Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a PRN (per diem) employee, you will work evening shifts and be responsible for operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a clean and organized department.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or potential problems to appropriate personnel
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and data
Requirements
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Medical Sonographer credentied from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
