Compensation: $33 - $35 per hour
Location: Valparaiso, IN
A reputable manufacturing firm is looking to expand its team by hiring several industrial maintenance technicians. The company offers immediate access to 401k and insurance benefits upon employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on various industrial machinery, including overhead cranes, conveyors, furnaces, generators, and lighting systems.
- Replace and install 480V AC/DC motors as needed.
- Diagnose issues with circuit breakers and transformers.
- Perform troubleshooting on Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician or in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Experience with 480V wiring.
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting.
Work Environment:
New hires will receive training during the initial months. The workplace is a controlled, temperature-regulated industrial facility equipped with milling and lathe machines. It is well-lit and maintained to high cleanliness standards typical of industrial settings. While some areas may be noisy, the facility is recognized as one of the cleanest machine shops in the region.
Shift Details: Rotating shifts weekly: 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, 11 PM - 7 AM.
