Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced travel nurse RN to fill a 13-week assignment in our Emergency Department. As a travel nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness and empowering them to take an active role in their care
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Emergency Department setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, with a focus on patient safety and confidentiality
