Catholic Medical Center Seeks Heart Failure Specialist

The nationally recognized New England Heart and Vascular Institute (NEHVI) at Catholic Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist specializing in Heart Failure to join our growing Congestive Heart Failure team. The successful candidate will work with a dedicated inpatient CHF rounding service as well as a dedicated outpatient clinic with four APPs and five RNs.

  • This high-volume program provides a unique opportunity for a cardiologist to make a significant impact on patient care and outcomes.
  • We also have dedicated, cutting-edge EP and Structural Heart teams performing procedures such as MitraClip and top-notch imaging focusing on cardiac MRI to further support our heart failure patients.
  • We offer an outpatient IV Lasix program, a CardioMEMS program with local implant and follow-up, and our advanced CHF Clinic provides local follow-up care of LVAD and post-cardiac transplant patients.
  • Experience with ECMO is a plus as we also have a growing shock program.
  • We provide a local CHF support group for advanced patients and their families.
  • Our active research department is engaged in major national CHF trials.
