Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician specializing in geriatric care to enhance our behavioral health services. This role is focused on providing comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder treatment to adults, particularly those aged 65 and older.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for new patients.
- Manage medication checks and ongoing treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals within the Adult Psychiatry program.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with flexible hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional on-call duties are required, approximately 2-3 weeknights per month, with no weekend obligations.
Team Environment: You will be part of a robust psychiatric group that includes six adult psychiatrists, four psychiatric hospitalists, and a large team of mental health and substance abuse counselors. Our facility is equipped with a newly renovated adult inpatient unit, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and patients.
