Swimming Instructor

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Safety Instructor to join our team at MVP SPORTSCLUBS. The ideal candidate will have excellent teaching skills, the ability to supervise groups of people, and a current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification.

**About the Job:**
The Water Safety Instructor plans and instructs American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim classes and water safety courses. This position is a part of our Aquatics Department reporting to the Aquatics Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of learn-to-swim students, recognizing and responding effectively to emergencies, and enforcing all aquatic facility policies and rules. You will also teach swim lessons according to American Red Cross LTS guidelines and requirements, prepare class areas in advance, and adapt your teaching approach to match the experience and abilities of students.

**Requirements:**
* High School diploma or 16 years of age
* First Aid/CPR Training (or willingness to obtain)
* Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification
* Excellent teaching skills
* Ability to supervise groups of people, including children, both visually and audibly to ensure safety, facility rules and health standards
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and mornings
