Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As an Acute Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a clinical care team to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and develop personalized care plans.
- Perform a range of clinical tasks, including splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
- Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in acute care settings, such as Emergency Departments, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine.
- Graduate degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Nationally board certified, current.
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
