Norman Regional Health System, a leading community hospital system in Oklahoma, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team.

We offer a dynamic work environment with a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower and cutting-edge cardiovascular program. Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists works closely with our talented technologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures
  • Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
  • Maintain a sterile environment
  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
  • Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification in Cardiovascular (CV), Interventions (CI), or Vascular Interventional (VI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within six months of hire

Compensation:

This role offers an estimated salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
