Equipment Technician Position at Hoar Construction

The Equipment Technician at Hoar Construction is tasked with the upkeep and repair of machinery to ensure optimal performance. This role encompasses servicing equipment both at the main facility and on job sites, guaranteeing that all tools and machines are functioning properly. The Equipment Technician will also be available for on-site service calls to assist with construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery for safe operation
  • Coordinate on-site repairs with the project Supervisor
  • Assess and estimate costs for repairs
  • Develop and maintain service schedules
  • Manage parts inventory and procurement

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Acceptable driving history

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This position necessitates the physical capability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and travel between various locations. The individual must be able to lift weights, operate machinery, and communicate effectively.
