About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing mammographic imaging procedures, assisting radiologists in biopsies and other procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammographic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Assist radiologists in biopsies and other procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques and adhering to radiation safety protocols
  • Position, move, and assist patients, obtaining patient history and performing clerical duties as needed
  • Perform basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • State license in Radiography
  • ARRT (R) and American Registry Radiologic Technologist certification
  • ARRT (R) (M) certification in Mammography
