Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a cohesive approach to education.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and documentation to track student progress and inform future treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
