We are looking for a passionate and skilled educator to design and execute a continuous program of activities that foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of each child, in alignment with the Primrose Balanced Learning philosophy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and supervision of a classroom of children.
- Adhere to all regulations and guidelines set forth by the Primrose School of Centennial and relevant local, state, or national agencies regarding child health, safety, and care.
- Execute the approved lesson plans and daily schedules in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized classroom environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making among children.
- Provide positive reinforcement and clear expectations for children's behavior.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the classroom, shared spaces, and outdoor areas.
- Exhibit a professional appearance in line with the Primrose School's standards.
- Assist in additional tasks as directed by the Director or designated personnel.
- Preferred candidates should hold Early Childhood Teacher (Lead) qualifications or a minimum level 2 on PDIS.
- Must meet the basic requirements of the local child care regulatory agency.
- Availability for flexible full-time hours, Monday through Friday, is essential.
- Prior experience in a licensed early childhood education role is preferred.
- Understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children is crucial.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safe handling of children during activities and emergencies.
- Reliability and a strong attendance record are required.
