Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Operator to become part of our team at Ryder. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to transition from Owner Operator to Company Driver.

Compensation Package:

Our drivers enjoy a guaranteed weekly income of $1275 (full work week required). Pay is structured as follows:
  • Mileage Pay: $0.72 per mile, averaging 1220 miles weekly
  • Stop Pay: $22.00 per stop, with an average of 16 stops weekly
  • Tenure Bonus: $300 quarterly

Training and Schedule:

We provide paid training to ensure your success. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts, starting at 4:30 PM.

Vehicle and Route Details:

Our fleet consists of trucks that are three years old or newer. Drivers are responsible for servicing the route rather than the vehicle. The position involves local deliveries with daily home time, utilizing a Day Cab tractor and flatbed trailers (48' and 53'). Freight will primarily consist of load securement for steel and metal.

  • Other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Pass a drug test and background check
  • Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
  • Verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
