At OneStaff Medical, we offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This 13-week assignment will require the successful candidate to work 48 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective care.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PICU, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A valid RN license
  • Experience working in a pediatric intensive care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
