Security Protector

We are seeking a Security Protector to join our team at Ascension Seton. In this role, you will provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.

The Security Protector will perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. This includes investigating, documenting, and managing security incidents and hazards.

• Maintain knowledge/follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety.

A Security Guard specializing in Weapon Permit credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date is required. A Security Professional credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety is preferred.

In this role, you can expect:

• An estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
