Parking Facilities Associate Position Overview

J|D Operational Services is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parking Facilities Associate to join our team at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parking garage, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces. They will also perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing burned-out bulbs and applying oil absorbent to spills, and operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parking garage, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing burned-out bulbs and applying oil absorbent to spills.
• Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.
• Assist customers with parking and respond to their concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in facility maintenance, electrical work, or painting
• A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
