At Wingate Management Company, we're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of our community spaces.

About the Role

This part-time Maintenance Expert position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where no two days are ever the same. You'll have the chance to take ownership of your work, contribute ideas that enhance the living experience for our residents, and develop your skills in electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC maintenance.

We offer competitive pay, with an estimated salary range of $32,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. This hourly rate is equivalent to $15.38/hour. Shifts will be 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours calls and on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our properties in top condition, handling tasks such as painting, lawn care, electrical work, and snow removal.
  • Ensure newly vacated apartments are ready for the next resident with thorough 'turnover' maintenance.
  • Regularly assess the property, identifying and addressing potential maintenance concerns and collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor on solutions.
  • Oversee vendor work as needed and safely operate power tools and equipment.
