Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing financial and accounting processes, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, analyze financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Oversee accounting functions, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with roles in financial planning and plant controlling.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Additional Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Work Environment
  • Full-time, hybrid position with office and remote work.
  • Must be based in the greater Houston area and willing to travel up to 10%.
