Job Title: Locum Psychiatrist Opportunity
Job Summary:
VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for a permanent position in a mental health facility. As a Physician-Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric care to acute and/or sub-acute patients in our in-patient Regional Mental Health Institute (hospital).
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to diagnose and treat behavioral health issues.
- Complete and authenticate all necessary documentation.
- Order and monitor treatments, tests, and medication regimens.
- Provide expert recommendations to the court regarding commitments, conservatorships, and forensic evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Tennessee Medical License.
- Completion of an accredited psychiatric residency program is required.
